- The Smoke Escape Mask is able to filter the toxic smoke, it does not supply extra oxygen. After putting on the Smoke Escape Mask you must escape from the fire or smoke situation immediately.
- The Smoke Escape Mask must not be used for firefighting or entering a burning building, it should only be used to help you escape the danger quickly and safely.
- The Smoke Escape Mask is not fire proof, it is fire resistant. It does not provide protection agains extreme heat or flames.
- The Smoke Escape Mask will only be effective for 20 minutes after being opened.
- The effectiveness of the Smoke Escape Mask against all types of contaminants cannot be
pre-determined. It is extremely important to leave any dangerous situation immediately.
- The Smoke Escape Mask is not intended for use in conditions that produce a high concentration of extremely corrosive gases.
- The Smoke Escape Mask is vacuum packed and sealed to ensure optimum efficiency of the six layer filter. Once exposed to the atmosphere the efficiency of the filter will diminish.
